WE HAVE THE GOODS
Brighton is Utah’s only resort that can boast that 100% of its terrain is accessible by high speed quads. Our five quads, one triple and magic carpet service 1,050 acres and 1,875 vertical feet of incredible Utah skiing. Other amenities include The New Millicent Chalet, three additional day lodges, high quality rentals, top notch ski and snowboard school, lockers, cafeterias, a pub, frequent public bus transportation from many points in downtown Salt Lake City and park & ride lots around the valley. What’s more, kids 10 and under ski and ride free.
The mountain averages 500 inches of snow a winter. The snow is traditionally light, fluffy and dry making it a paradise for riders and skiers. Brighton is located directly in the path of winter storms and it is also at the very top of Big Cottonwood Canyon so it gets the very best of the “greatest snow on earth,” and lots of it.
Brighton’s grooming is five star, it is consistently top quality. Beginner runs are groomed nightly. Intermediate trails are groomed nightly, except for a few obscure trails which are groomed as needed. And for the experts, main runs are groomed, but most is left au naturale for those who like their powder deep and unobstructed. The grooming report is posted daily.
Terrain is our trump card – and 100% of the terrain can be accessed by high speed quad. It’s one of the only mountains where friends and families can ride together on the same lift and then peel off onto different trails – beginner, intermediate, or expert – and all meet at the bottom to ride the lift back up together. Most skiers and riders stick to the immaculately groomed trails, but there are trees and chutes, cliffs and natural terrain parks all within bounds for those who like white knuckle terrain. Brighton also features incredible Terrain Parks for those who want to nail that perfect trick. Freestyle riders and skiers enjoy Brighton’s four terrain parks for all abilities. The terrain park crew keeps the features moving around so what’s here today might be gone tomorrow.
While visiting Brighton, you have to check out the resorts night skiing. We have the most night skiing terrain in Utah with 22 runs on over 200 lighted acres with lifts running from 4PM-9PM Mon-Sat.
Brighton is famous for its Ski and Snowboard School. Brighton’s Ski and Snowboard School has private lessons, daily group classes for every ability level of skiers and riders, and specialty series for kids, women, seniors, and much more.
